Profile
Emefa Jewellery was founded by David Apim-Tetteh, a professional jeweler with over 30 years of experience in metal product design, particularly in quality jewelry. After graduating from KNUST, David worked for eight years at Precious Minerals Marketing Company (PMMC), where he advanced to head of production. He started Emefa Jewellery as a hobby, focusing on unique African designs for the tourist market. In 2003, the company was formally registered and has since gained a strong reputation in both the Ghanaian and international jewelry markets.
Emefa Jewellery is known for its quality craftsmanship and timely delivery of customer orders. The company has two locations in Accra: a jewelry shop and a repair center. With a team of 10 permanent staff, 2 apprentices, and student interns, the business also collaborates with educational institutions both locally and internationally to support student learning and skill development.
Emefa Jewellery has also made crowns for numerous beauty pageants in Ghana, and its leadership team includes two directors, a secretary, and various departmental teams for design, IT, finance, production, and sales.
