Labadi Beach Hotel was built by Top Housing from Sweden and locally represented by Micheletti & Co contractors in the year 1991 as Ghana’s Premier five-star Hotel. Since its inception the Hotel has led Ghana’s hospitality industry, providing exceptional services to its cherished guests.
Set amidst tropical landscaped gardens, adjacent one of Ghana’s most popular beaches in the Country’s central business district, the hotel caters for the business and leisure traveler.
The hotel has 164 rooms including 2 Presidential Suites, 4 Executive Suites, 4 Superior Suites, 5 Bars, 2 restaurants, a 900-seater ultra-modern conference and banqueting facilities, a Spa with plunge pool, well equipped Gym, Lagoon for fishing, 2 plush Leisure and lap pools on a sprawling tropical landscaped garden overlooking the natural Lagoon. The spa houses four treatment rooms, complete with shower facility in each room, a double suite for couples’ therapies, a designer Manicure and Pedicure lounge, a custom-made Spa hydro pool and a relaxation area, offering guests a sanctuary for the senses and a place for physical and mental renewal.
Labadi Beach Hotel over years has played host to the British Monarch and other dignitaries from all over the world. Notably, Prince Phillip and Queen Elizabeth in the year 1999, Princess Anne in 2007, Prince Edward- Earl of Wessex in 2016 & 2018, H.E. Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria, H.E. Kgalema Motlanthe, Vice President of South Africa in 2012, the First Lady of South Africa Mrs. Thobeka Madiba-Zuma, H.E. Jacob Zuma President of South Africa in 2013, H.E. William Ruto, President of Kenya, H.E. Armandenaja, President of Iran in 2013, H.E. Charles Xavier-Luc Duval – Vice Prime Minister of Mauritius in 2014, Ace BBC Journalist/Presenter MS Zeinab Badawi-Malik in 2015, Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark in 2017 amongst many others.
The Hotel’s success story spanning 32 years is attributed to consistency in maintenance and the delivery of superior services by a well-experienced staff of which 25% are pioneers.
Labadi Beach Hotel is fully owned by the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) and managed by Labadi Beach Hotel Management team and Board of Director.
